Yeah, Henry, that was my thinking- I considered behind the windshield (but the angle wasn't quite right there, and I wasn't sure I could prevent glare / reflection back to me. I thought about cutting the fiberglass to recess it in the nose, but that was complex, and if I ever needed to switch lights, the new light probably wouldn't fit. I almost mounted it too close to the tire for clearance on turning- it has to be mounted pretty far laterally to clear. As it was, I only had to put one 1/4" hole in the trike- plus the 1/2" hole in the dash for the switch.
