Check unusual places. I needed Carlisle sand tires for my nortwhing, I think spruce wanted ~ 60 - 80 each, went to discount tire and they could order them for $15. Turns out they commonly use them for "turf" tires on golf carts and small riding mowers. Who knew?- Ha! Dancing around the fire, drinking unusual drinks and meet friends (that you only knew from email) face to face...for the opportunity to fly as a passanger and once as the pilot over beautiful places...

thanks joz i wish you were here buddy actually my little ranch is 11 nat miles to the south of here but to drive to plains is an hour away because of mountains. great places to fly. lots of bighorn sheep- hey XC I find the fiberglass nose cone to be delicate (when compared with the Airborn Trikes). There is a ce...39; within the body shell, which I dont like. The shell is only mounted in two places...
- Happy Triker, A majority of the places have no names on the map. Local pilots (myself included) just made up names for them. That's half the fun of flying into the unknown, being surprised, and making up a name and sharing these spots with friends.
- We have a steady stream of morons in trucks driving about, making mud, and getting stuck. But in doing so they usually show us the landable places...
