Hi Dave, I would love to fly in Canada but I think this one sentence will eliminate many of us. "TC still requires U.S. pilots flying LSA aircraft in Canadian airspace to hold at least a private pilot certificate and a current FAA medical certificate."- I've been away, and have just now noticed this post. How truly sad I am to hear this news. He hardly knew me, but treated me as an old friend when we talked twice after the repairman class. Such a nice soul. RIP

Made my appointment for Wednesday with my FSDO. Took several discussions on the phone call to get someone that understood what I wanted. They don't get many Light Sport repairman at the Long beach office. Anybody else made the trip yet?- Wow. u got certificate so you can fly at night?

Awesome guys! Made my app last friday, went in, filled out the 8610-2, and walked out with my temporary Airman Certificate. It was EZ-PZ. They guys at Riverside Airport are extremely helpful.- Henry, I write mine up the same as C.Box. With regard to hours before taking Pax, in Australia we have an endorsement on our pilot certificate for it, we have to do 40 hrs...
