Now forming group to enroll in 16 hour course. To be offered somewhere in the U.S. Southwest (Calif, Arizona, New Mexico, or Nevada) depending on participants. If we get approximately 15 participants interested in any particular area, then Neil Bungard will travel to us to give the course. Vegas !!?? Maybe we can schedule with the long awaited electric Trike Fly-in !!?? If we can't get 15 ish people interested, the course will be held in Tucson. Please use the RSVP button below to sign up as "Interested." Don't be a shy lurker, mark as "interested" it doesn't hurt if it turns out you cna't attend, but it helps us figure out things. Once we get enough people interested, we'll talk about location and dates. Until then, I've set the date for this event imaginarily on 1/1/2016 (just so it won't expire on us while we're forming up). Exspec if you have it in vegas with the electric trike demo.you heard anymore on that.
@RauckOn from eUp Aviation-Canada (electric trikes) was in his busy season and would be able to get back to it later. Dave G ( @Djg56 ) said he would keep up with him and help move this along.

Although I have taken the course and am certified to do my own annual, I would be interested in being there especially if it is in Las Vegas (or maybe Pahrump) just to be with you guys.
OK, we have 8 people interested in the 16 hour certification course. That means we can ask to schedule a course now at Tucson-- or we can wait for about 7 more people to sign up as interested and hold it where we decide would be best. Message me at AllTrikes to let me know your thoughts-- so we don't crowd out the board with the minutia of scheduling comments-- I'll post the consensus back here.
Where did Tucson come from?
As per the above intro ;) which clearly stated that Neil lives in Tucson and will give the class there if not around 15 people. If around 15 ish people, he will travel to us. I think Vegas would be great, if that is what you are getting at ;)
I personally was hoping for something closer... the farther away, more the cost in time and gas. But the "when" will say if we can pull it together? But that being said, I'm in... what ever it takes.
I too have taken a class and certified for my own annuals, but would be interested in attending if held in Las Vegas.

Neil responded that 10 pilots sounds like enough to do it at Vegas. I gave him Ken's name for contact. So, we're on, now everyone needs to agree on a date-- throw out some options (or times you can't go).
I spoke with Mia last week and she and Neil are thinking late October would work out. I'm hunting down a facility this week to see what we have at KBVU

So I have one of those jobs where time off requires a good bit of coordination. Are there any firm plans for dates and locations? I'd like to start the time off requests, airline tickets and hotel hunting. Any information on cost would be good to know too. Many thanks to whomever is setting this up!

Ken, I free lance design trade shows and events. I'm getting offers of work that are hard to turndown for a maybe. I'm hopping it doesn't happen the 3rd weekend in October. Since I'm asking, need any help?

When is the 16 hr. trike annual cert. course scheduled?
I hear it's shifted to early Nov which is not good at all for me. October worked great but it's never easy to coordinate these things with a big group. I still haven't heard any solid dates.
Could someone confirm the November date? My plan to attend in October got destroyed due to a last minute commitment, so November works better for me.
May I ask, what does the course include ??
