- Hey Ken, El Mirage closes for the rainy season keeping it nice for the road runner folk. Is your lakebed managed that way? I flew off it once years ago, not long after a rain. There was water about 1/2 mile away, I don't remember what time of year it was.

- Great to meet you Dale! Had such a great time last weekend. I did fly over the flowers on Monday, it was great. Also flew all the way to Slab City but I couldn't find the "T" road anywhere! I finally had to give up before running out of fuel haha.
- We are all good here - but the town of Maryborough 40kms up the road has been flooded 3rd time this year. And Gympie 100kms south for the 4th time in a year. Suns out now :-) I am waiting for the runway to dry up enough to launch hopefully this afternoon.
