    This rain event started yesterday.

    River heights are rising: http://www.bom.gov.au/fwo/IDQ65390/IDQ65390.040824.plt.shtml

The Wivenhoe dam in Brisbane is having water released: http://www.previous.seqwater.com.au/public/source-store-treat-supply/dams/wivenhoe-dam#damcam  This is so that it has the capacity to deal with too much rain.  Releasing the water later during the event should the need arise may cause Brisbane/Ipswich to be flooded again.

We are all good here - but the town of Maryborough 40kms up the road has been flooded 3rd time this year.  And Gympie 100kms south for the 4th time in a year.

Suns out now :-) I am waiting for the runway to dry up enough to launch hopefully this afternoon.
