  I'd call this photo, "Wall of Flower Fragrance!!!"  I used it in my talk last night to describe how a trike immerses you in the environment / the air !!!  Dale & Sally, I'd like to hear your experiences flying this weekend in dialog.  I picked up Dale just North / East of LA and we took off and crossed Burbank's airspace and dodged TFRs, then flew around basically the majority of Southern Calif for the next 4 days.

  Beautiful flying over flowers.  That is one of my dreams to fly over this.   Where is this field?   Look like Carlsbad in San Diego?

  Hi Sally, it does look like Carlsbad ;)  but this was at the S/E end of Salton Sea  just S/W of Calipatria/Hatfield airport where we landed.   Ken LP almost taxied across street to gas station there to get gas.  "Mud Pots" (geothermal vents) are just East of Niland, and Slab City is East of Niland along the aquaduct--  it took us two days to find it  ;)

  HERE is map-  The left upper part of the "V" is about where we stayed at Salton / where you were.  The bottom (pointy end of the V) is where flowers were, and the Right upper V is Mud Pots near Niland.

  Great to meet you Dale! Had such a great time last weekend. I did fly over the flowers on Monday, it was great. Also flew all the way to Slab City but I couldn't find the "T" road anywhere! I finally had to give up before running out of fuel haha.
