I love the looks of that engine, for the longest time I was thinking of getting a 103 trike with Verner 360 and now that HKS is not making engines any more, I might look at a Verner for my next engine (should I outlast my current...- Hi Ken, Is your engine get over the 110C mark? Most 912's run really well at 110C, mind you I have been hard pressed to get my 912 engine over the 100C mark. It is 42C here at the moment and I have just got down from doing circuit with a student. the 100hp engine didn't get to 100C today.

Hey ul looks like youre getting a good rate of climb .what engine are you using mz34 what hp ? Kameron makes great soaring birds. - Thank God, trikes have only one engine...it saves all of us from the complex calculations of how long it will take to get to our destination with an engine out... :) That's why I love them.
- Thank you Ken, it looks good. At first we will see what will be the result from Mr. Verner. Do you have any experience with BMW engine? I mean what I would need for mount the engine to my trike. What is optional setting, what reductor...etc
- I think power-off and gas/throttle off are the same thing. Engine off (out) is different, obviously. I heard there's a rule prohibiting actually shutting the engine off for practice purposes-- anyone know?
- Hi Christopher, the engine in the Minimax was from a Trike so that white thing you can see at the back of the engine is a large poly pipe to get the air into the fan on the Rotax 503.
- Yes he wants to fly again. Maybe he will be my next student. In that time he had the first trike with R503 engine in Slovakia. We all envied him the engine. All others we flew with Trabant or better Citroen C2V engines...

I posted this clip for a similar thread on the same subject. I had hundreds of delightful hours flying the exact t...I am planning to make a new sail for the 29, and I really want it to be with radial...
