Alltrikes

Thats precisely why we started alltrikes to begin with. While the current debate on "the dark side" is about this topic, there have been many there over the years, and the conduct there has been one of persecution. Our philosophy here has been that the community should moderate the tone of the discussion, and we will step in and give that a push when necessary to keep things civil, but by and large this is your site. We think we have attracted a great group of pilots that have facilitated open discussion of topics without needing to resort to personal attacks. Thanks to all of you for making alltrikes great. Its exactly what we hoped for and its all your fault. Thanks to all of you for keeping it that way.

Hi Bill, I am not responding to any one comment. I just look at the site once every two months or so. But they always seem to be having a go at someone or something. The site to me and I am only talking about my opinion. Does not seem a friendly site.

Hi YFT, I think the TPS comments are in response to a letter originally posted on Alltrikes, which openly "had a go", then the conversation moved to TPS ( for better or worse). So I don't thing TPS ( or it's members) has to shoulder all the blame for this one.

Hi all, Could someone tell me why is TPS alway having a go at someone? I am not a member of that site and everytime I look at it they always seem to be running someone down. I don't want to make any bad friend on this site so if, asking this question is a bad one just let it go. thanks YFT

hi peter yes actually i did wear the jacket up there proudly we had just a fantastic time with the fly in you would of loved the trikers there.actually i wore the jacket on a flight up to 10.5 feet and sent a little ommm to austrailia and then a few days later i went up to 10.5 wearing the flight suit that joz sent me and sent a little ommm to slovakia.its fly ins like this one and megga faunna that i wished the world was a smaller place .please say hi to everyone for me i think about you all every day.

Hi YFT. I remember only to beautiful flying time at YFT. Here is bad... Last Saturday... I prepared my trike and waited a client. Then I saw NW and a big cloud was growing there. I saw to my mobile and checked meteo radar. Something is growing very fast. I called to military airport and he confirmed the storm. About 1hour it will be here. Maybe I made a world record about speed of pack up my wing, trike on trailer and put it into my garage... Next week we preparing funny aeromeeting "Flight over LaManche canal on Slovakia". But weather forecast is bad... aaaach jooooo

Hi Everyone... Sorry I have not been posting much lately, but I have just been to busiess flying. Formation Friday has turned into Formation Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. The weather has been just great over here and the snow is just amazing. One big problem for me is... I keep foregetting to take a camera up with us. Many a time I say BUGGER, because the view is just breath taking. We are getting ready to take delivery of 3 new Tanarg's and 1 new Skypper. The ship is in Hong Kong at the moment. We should have them here at YFT on the 10th of September. Well I hope you are all getting some great flying in, and I am thinking of you all.

hey yft actually they went into the clark fork river near my house not seattle. ive really been missing all of you and your bright cheery faces. really it wasnt me. does anyone know where i could get cheep wings and a engine for a boeing 737 i need to go to austrailia on a regular basis?

This web site is so cool and there has been some great video that I have watched on this,
Also it was good to see the USA boys there, jozinko it made and enlighten the trip just that little more

Glad they are OK !!! They will be even better pilots for this. I thought bird strike would be pretty rare in a trike though-- I was once backseat early in my trike introduction and we had to fly past a sea cliff with birds or risk not getting home to unlit airstrip before dark. Hundreds of birds dove out toward us as we passed and they all easily flew past us--- like they do when they're in flocks, whirling in unison almost instantaneously. Also, I had heard that the the shrouds over the prop in the movies with geese, etc (fly away home, winged migration) sandhill crane project, etc were unnecessary and more to keep some rule maker happy than to keep birds out of the prop.
This is just basically anecdotal, but led me to think that slow rear engined trikes would be much less prone to bird strikes- or maybe it was a wedge tail that attacked the wing!!?? They do do that for sure!
Anyway, thanks for letting us know and so good to hear the intrepid trike film makers are OK-- likely we'll get an exciting movie with a happy ending out of it ;)

I have just been contacted by tocan 1 that they have had a paddock landing after a possable bird strike. They are ok and will try to get a new prop ASAP. They were on there way to Lightning Ridge. They landed at a town called Yoval. They are going to get their Trike to Dubbo to do repairs.

yft interested in top to bottom bloody hell mate your coming or all fly over and get ya we've got peanut butter and are kids were all raised on it.the west coast has big flocks of girls in bikinis like cocka toos.besides that we need someone to teach jozinko how to drive on the right side of the road again. and just think if you get away from the gas station without paying for you're fuel no worries mate there's 5 more behind you that didn't pay either especially in California? the coast dosnt have non reflective s but we do have no see ums nasty little boogers leave welts . you can walk down sunset strip and make all the funny faces you want and thell think you a local.and xc can do more on your enigma really? really? i mean really? plus you wont have to worry about chriss seeking out puddles because it never rains in southern California. sonya anne and janet can go cruzing around with kale slurpees and a bowl of gooie ducks wearing flip flops. man i miss a you guys and gals

Ha ha... matches TB13's colours nicely hey YFT? Just kidding. A little loud and bold even for me lol. There's a spot on the spat fins earmarked for this. Perfect on a silver background. It's been through a few iterations, but comfortable with what the creative process has produced. Just need a trike now... but we've got a likely delivery date. Yeah !!!! RAA Reg notice arrived yesterday. Thank you. Very happy :-)

Awesome Lawrie & Madmik! Papers are here. Are the Tanargs? Lawrie's is all deep green, what color is MadMik's again-- the fast color or the slow color?

Well it has now become real for two new Tanarg owners. Today they received their registration papers for there aircraft. I also have there registration numbers for their aircraft. It's all happening for Lawrie and Madmik.

Stop the Press... Aussiewander, is now a Pilot. He passed his licence test today.

YFT News... Jozinko arrived this morning in Australia in an A380. I spoke to him on the phone and he said "could you speak a little slower". Don't you love it. He will be driving up from Melbourne in the morning in Branko's car. Look out everyone Josinko our bus driver is on his way.

Megafauna Flyaway only two weeks away... Yes not long now. Jozinko will be boarding first. But he has been hijacked by Branko as has to go to a wedding first HA HA. No flying for you. The two David's will be picked up by YFT from the international Airport and delivered back to YFT International accommodation. That's were the fun begins. And then we have Megafauna as well... See you all soon.

Update from YFT. Lawrie has past his flight test and now has a pilots licence. Rob is about to go solo. Peter is also about to go solo. Ken has a new aircraft, and is not far from solo. Jesse has gone solo and is about to fly his new T-Lite. White Eagle, XCTriker, and Jozinko now have Australian Licences. And that it for now.
