Trike Flight in Turbulence

Looks like it was filmed in Oz
Henry had a good turbulence film somewhere too

One thing I noticed from this video was that even though the pilot was all over the place on the control bar  the wing was seldom rolled more than ten or fifteen degrees. It demonstrates to me that trikes can handle much more turbulence than the pilots.

My problem has always been holding the bar too tightly which my instructor used to b****ck me for as any turbulence would be amplified through to the trike... Easier said than done though !!!

I noticed that too Charlie.  Henry had a hangar mate at one time that had a huge gimbled camera (basically the size of news copter cameras) right on the nose of the trike.  It was controlled by a guy with a computer and hood in the back seat of his Airborne.   Really made spectacular smooth videos.  He found that the nose actually is the most stable part of the craft to film from.  Even though when we're flying, it seems like the wing is moving all over the place.

@Henry, do you know where that video is on Youtube?  It had some nice beach flying near Ventura or Malibu.
