Hi Pedro. In my experience, the batten clips usually were broke by the plastis thread and one part with thread stayed into spire tube. My father made me reparation by aluminium screws. I fly Aeros Profi wing.- Searching around I found only a weed hopper accident that was blamed on the fabric. not on the thread per se. Have you seen a thread caused accident reported?

Thanks for voting YFT. Prompt to get this poll and thread back on the topic of trike development (apologies all).- There is a thread about Airborne forks last year...not sure which forum. I think it was an issue with the welds...I could be wrong.
- Whoa daddy! Way worse than engine out...any idea on the age of the wing? How many hours of UV exposure? Maybe just a weak point in the thread or fabric?
