- It was pretty smooth, light rain showers and slight turb just below the cloud ceiling, about 2000 agl. I've been flying an iXs 13 for about 500 hrs on my clipper 912, and the handling is very similar, but the speed range is awesome on the Bx 13.
- Cool-- Extra parts!!! ;) I put a small weep hole in the bottom of this also, looks like some rain water collected there in Hawaii.
- Photo's are screen shots from my Hero 2. We are getting all the mud from the highlands fire area which has now had a lot of rain. Most of the towns along the river are on water restrictions due to the silt in the water.

- i didn't mention but on final i was trying to decide if i wanted my bacon just well done or real crispy! just shows to go you should never un-concentrate when your butt is rain-soaked, your hungry and not quite in the hanger yet.

Whew, thanks, Shelton I know. Lived there and flew out of KSHN for 17 years. Only problem with western Washington is lots of rain and fog. August often the best month for flying but you can still get rained out. Now you know why I retired to Texas. Chelan might be a better weather choice.- Yes!! (that's what I was thinking too) and then the huge Hay Plains -- the beginning of the outback. Which is pretty barren, even now when it's a lush veritable rain forest due to atypical rains. - As allways, very nice flying photos. In our country it seems the winter is out. This winter we havent much snow and frost was very weak. But a rain and mud we have everywhere. I must to wait when the sun and a wind will dry our land and I hope, I will start my flying season very soon.
