5.3 Liter fuelbladder HERE
This is the standard fuelbladder for ferrying airplanes, etc. It is specifically designed for aircraft and high altitudes (low ambient...
...wouldn't trust it for carrying fuel at altitude (low ambient pres...icture, I'm using George's bladder. I bought the Turtle...n very handy for actually carrying fuel in the trike. It sits v...h ethanol (possibly leaking at the fuel spout?)
There is the fuel block on the top of the 912 engine (for newer model). The rerun line has to come out from the top of the fuel block. So air in the fuel line can escape quickly to the tank through the return line.
Interesting mast "long range" fuel tank. Can't find any information about it, but seemed to be used on different trikes. What do you think? Would you feel confortable flying with this fuel tank?
This was my previous racor fuel filter installation point. I used 1/8" aluminum and bolted to the original fuel throttle mixer post. The aluminum eventually failed from vibration
First, note the gas tank / seat. We were considering using these to extend our range at times. Two of these in a trike in place of the seats, would be 2x 10 gallons. Or, 375 more miles of range !!! (If your butt and bladder could handle that!)
