Love it Ken! I went the same route after watching Henry's video a year ago. That's where I keep her for now, until perhaps one day a hangar becomes an option.

i made these about a year ago using bike brakes on line, $20. i fabbed the adapter from a chunk of thick walled tube, the flange was cut with a hole saw, i used low temp allu. 'welding'...
Thanks for the commiseration, everybody! I had a charger in the hangar so was able to fly later. :D The trouble was probably a radio wired temporarily to the battery. I think it was drawing power even though turned off.
