Here is a video I made around a year or so ago. Basically, it is an unsolicited promotional video for Yarrawonga Flight Training. I was so impressed with Peter and Anne's operation, I felt I had to share it to the world!
Nice video and love your T-Lite trike, what engine do you have on the T-Lite. What other trikes have you flown and how do you compare it with the T-Lite?
I can only endorse your opinion about Peter and Anne and the operations at Hangar 19.
As a former student of Peter's I could have moved my trike closer to home, however I still make the 3 hour drive to go fly my trike there because it is such an enjoyable environment. Peter and Anne are so generous with their time, despite the fact I have completed my training..... wait a minute you never stop learning and that is one of the benefits of Hangar 19.
Hi RizzyWizzy. We only had the T-Lite for a short time. Prior to that, we had done most of our flying on an Airborne Buzzard around 20 years ago! The T-Lite was great - but very light handling and not really suitable for a couple of pilots who hate thermals and bumpy weather! Besides, we soon found out that the T-Lite would not quite be suitable for the Megafauna. We would have been going backwards most of the way. Anyway, it was a lot of fun whilst we had it. Very safe - as part of our safety briefing, we were told by a well known instructor that if we were having a difficult landing, just step out of the trike and run alongside it until it stops.
Noel, we wish we were a little closer to Hangar 19 as well - however it is a 6 hour trip we always look forward to. Pleased to hear other accolades for YFT. To be fair, our first instructor was also exceptional - Chris Brandon. A great instructor and friend. Regards, Toucan Peter. (The Taller Toucan)
Wow that's a great video-- professional !! Just like Peter & Anne's operation. You guys are so lucky to have a great environment YFT) and camaraderie to fly in ! Very few pilots to fly with where I am. Enjoy!!!
Thank you again YFT (and Toucans for this wonderful video).
I wish I had a T-Lite. I like bumps ;) (up-going ones ;)
