The Arlington Fly-In known as the West Coast Premier Recreation Aviation Event takes place
Arlington Fly-In, located at the Arlington Municipal Airport in Washington State began as a one day fly-in and spaghetti feed in 1969. It has grown to become one of the most popular sport aviation events in the West. The “County Fair with Airplanes” is one of the friendliest Fly-In destinations. This event has something for everyone, from radio controlled flight to Hot Air Balloons to Bi-Plane rides. Over 1,000 aircraft including Powered Parachutes, Home Builts, Classic, Vintage and Warbirds. and 55,000 guests participate in and enjoy thefestival of aerobatics, hands-on workshops, educational forums, aircraft judging and many other aviation-oriented activities. Hey @Mitch, Henry & I were trying to figure out a way to get to the Arlington Airshow (July 11-13) Now you just reminded me that we have a good friend with a really fast aircraft. Wanna fly up there with Henry & I? We could split fuel costs. It's about 815 nautical miles (possible SkyVector Route) each way (4.5 hrs at 180kts). Henry could film the whole adventure for you! (Can we put cameras on your wingtips? ;)
We wanted to take the trikes up direct, but we have a scheduling conflict with our trip to Elk River, Idaho just a couple weeks later.
