  • ULtrikepilot

Awesome video.  I certainly would like to know how they capture some of that footage.  thx for sharing XC.

  • RizzyWizzy

That was amazing. As much as I love birds of prey, this has got to be the only time when I was with the little squirrel. I was screaming "run squirrel, run!"

  • wefly

Just awesome.. real life adrenalin of survival in nature! Remarkable footage.. thanks a bunch, have watched this one three times - the creative editing of the survival & decisional moments of both creatures is magic.

I was having dinner at Wangaratta last night waiting to go into the movies to see Last Vagas, when I received this video on my phone. We watched it three times. It was awesome.

    Thanks XC

    Absolutely Fantastic

Very well thought out and many hours of shooting all the required scenes.

It's not like, but is, making a movie after writing a script and not having actors that do what they are told. (ohh, hold on isn't that usually the case)  Up there and maybe better than much of David Attenborough's film crew production work.

Here is more from the same youtube channel - might be worth a look: http://www.youtube.com/user/13natureHD/videos

hey xc well looks like you got plenty of posts on this one. ive seen this one before and it still amazes me.up here we have a lot more flying squirrels than regular squirrels. although few ever see them .most people don't even know there here in large numbers as they only come out late at night.last winter i went out at 3 in the morning and a flying squirrel flew right over my head scared the crap out of me.great video
