For my $.02, the Jabiru J250 is the best SLSA fixed wing on the market today but that's only from research and not actually experience. It's also not a 912 but the Jabiru does have a very good reliability record.- Style points! This one does look better. I've heard some people that use the motorcycle 12volt heating clothing have some power draw and reliability issues. I'd rather avoid that all together and go this route. Price is about the same but you would need to remember to charge it before flights.

Still working on this question. Put some calls out.
