Jeff, that is another phenomenal video. You have a nice rugged trike and I enjoyed your landings on those dirt strips. Amazing video. I am going to play this at our hangar to show it to my fellow pilots :)
Very nice looking trike. I bet by flaring from the rear wires or with training bars attached you could make a decent full flare landing. I used to fly a pteradactyl that could do no roll landings. It was a lot of fun just landing.
I always enjoyed that flight. Lake is spectacular and the Bird Museum was a must stop when they allowed landings. Sadly, Bird's heirs will no longer allow the public to land. My wife grew up across the street from Felts.
Good one Noel.. so good to see another happy face from YFT doing their best to achieve flight SOLO..!
May you have many a flight in safety with lasting memories of smooth landings. Congratulations.
Enough of oscillations and unfortunate landings for the moment. This photo opitimises the joys of triking. Great photo Christopher and sounds like a wonderful trip.
Beautiful video AQR! Very nice country around the airport is there! I love a beautiful views around the lake. It looks your QuikR flew quite fast. What was your speed? Very nice landings, great!
This is broadcast quality!!!! Wow! Love the rigid wing (ATOS?) soaring trike at 8:40 to, and take-offs / landings from roads!!! GREAT!!!
What is the throttle-like lever on the control bar- visible at 11:06?
...V news we can to see short shots only. I saw first time that devastation. Works with nosewheel I teach my students more times, because I saw some landings - especially on asphalt -&nbs...
What's about the slowest stall speed in a light trike? (mine is not light, but slow for GA at 32 - 39 mph).
Does anyone know where that video is of a very light trike, single seat I believe, with a huge SS wing doing nearly 1 foot take offs and landings?
