After some testing and a few updates... this app is exactly what I wanted. I don...too. In Australia - we have an inflight app for ipad called OzRunways. I have it for flight planning, but don't use my ipad...- Hi Ken, whats the app you are using on your Ipad. Cheers

WingX is a moving map application that I use on my iPad. http://www.hiltonsoftware.com/- I've got the steam gauges and I really like them. My ipad does mapping and GPS/Navigation just fine, so for me its a good combo of old and new
