I had a Garmin Aera 500 series and it was a really good GPS. Lately I use my iPadmini and the WingX Pro navigation app. Way more versatile/ and easier to always have the current, but in the end they both got the job done nicely.
I had and Aera 500 and it was a great GPS - they also offer versions with weather updates etc. Now I'm running an iPadmini with Xwing Pro and it is also splendid. Same app runs on my iPhone
I'm kind of surprised that no one here has mentioned cameras... are the GoPro 3 worth it? What are the big advantages the 3 have over the 2?
And how about that new MiniiPad? Anyone here using that for navigation or inflight weather?

Much more sunlight readible than an iPad.
I have mine paired with an iLevil for ADS-B weather and traffic.
