Yes it is a bit, but at $200 per month hangar fees, $20 landing fees and $60 petrol every time I use the 'real' local airport the tedium soon evaporates!!

I had a 15-20 knot tail wind, so made pretty good time (2.4 hours in...eared to be a 20 knot 45 degree cross wind.

This was Ned's first flight. He also did the landing from the rear seat. Ned made a comment "My landing was smoother than a QANTAS Jet" Don't you love it. By the way Ned is 12 years old.

hi damien, the bar actually was a tad forward of trim and i would have flared...i'll 'fly' it on, sometimes deliberately landing downwind, just to familiarise...table so when you apply your 'one thing' landing,...ill you'r teeth bleed! or it's a 'failed landi...
I decided to fly to their airport and Im sure she will be there too. Then I take her to my trike and I show her a differencies between normal landing procedures and his landing. Im sure she will understand. When not...hmmm :-)
