Yes, ULTP is right, because the cable under the bolt is blocking the crossbeam and it is pushed down on the keel. - Hi Craig, Leo Lezzi machined the mount from hard plastic for me. He did the great job !! It incerts about 5" into the main keel. We used one tap screw through the main keel from the bottom. The extentable lot we used is one of selfie pole. I got it less than $20 from Amazon.
