I am just in awe of the way you guys over there can swap, mix, upgrade, downgrade and modify wings a bit like selecting tyres for your SUV. If we tried this in Aus they would ground our aircraft and throw us in the slammer- Hey Monty, just retread the tyres and put the money saved toward a Tanarg !

- No, I think it is considered unsafe because the POH for that aircraft says "don't do those things". He may be still alive and flying, but is the next owner of that aircraft? Did he note that the wing had been stressed like that in the aircraft log?

- Ahoj Jozinko, I am sorry but pilots and aircraft do not fall into spiral divers! It is a controlled maneuver that a pilot pushes the aircraft into. You would have to have a very poorly designed aircraft if it would just fall into a spiral dive.
