It was pretty smooth, light rain showers and slight turb just below the cloud ceiling, about 2000 agl.
I've been flying an iXs 13 for about 500 hrs on my clipper 912, and the handling is very similar, but the speed range is awesome on the Bx 13.
I replaced it of because my old prop (Ukrainan Aero) is 13 years old and it iis a little damaged. This new has the same power of climb 9m/s solo but in the cruising speed it works on 3600rpm and the old one was 3800rpm. And it is much more quiet. But the date... Is a mistake :) &nbs
Not much in the way of stats yet. I have two wings now (a strutted maverick and a strutted pacer).
I will use one of these. This should give me a speed range where I can fly along with my ultralight friends.
Nice video buddy, my favorite part was where you are flying along another trike. Are you flying a Northwing's wing? and what size? What is your cruise speed?
Thanks guys. Yes, the risk is higher the lower we fly. As they say, speed and altitude are your friend. But as they also say, no risk, no reward. I try to have an "out" as much as possible. I don't consider myself an adrenalin junky but do appreciate the detail you can see up close.
I have 100hp with Bionix15. Even if I had 200hp the trike would not go any faster as the top speed is determined by the aerodynamics of the wing and not the engine power. What I get with my 100hp is just a great climb rate.
