I have been real happy with the geo engine. except for being heavy its great. I cruise at 3800 rpm at about 60 mph. - those regulators fail.you shoud have ac volatge out of the charging coils of the engine around 30 volts at idle.its then regulated and recified thru the regulator to aroung 13.5v dc current to the battery.hope that helps
