People missing out on serious discussion here-- are you on this list?

The AllTrikes website has the ability to manage what can be seen at various levels.  We had as a tip, at the top of the site for several weeks the fact that if you are not logged in, you may be missing out on a big part of the conversation.

Some "Events" for example are restricted to viewing to only logged in members--  this keeps random yahoos from showing up at certain trike fly-ins where maybe the land owner wants a heads up first, etc.

It the person posting the item, photo, event, discussion, etc, posts it as viewable to logged in members only, then you won't even know it is there if you are not signed in-- the conversation will pass you right by.

The CSI (accident discussion) group was set up to be even more restrictive-- you need to not only be logged in, but you need to be a responsible member of the group to read and reply to posts in that sensitive discussion where we talk about incidents and accidents-- some of them being fatal.  Anyone who does not behave with respect in that group will be deleted from the group (haven't had to do that yet).  We are very proud that those who have joined AllTrikes did so because they were looking for a friendly site for ALL trikes!!!  Thank You!!!   If a person was to be deleted from the group (or if they never accepted their invite, or requested one), then they can no longer view or participate in CSI discussion.  Additionally, google search engines, and the general public, media, trolls, etc cannot search or view discussions on this sensitive subject that needs a protected area to exist.

If you are on the list in the photo, you received an invite to CSI, but have not clicked on accept / join.  You are probably missing out.  If you are a newer member, you may not have received an invite since the last batch went out.  Please request one.  If you don't want to join, let us know & we'll delete the invite (helps manage the list).

There are other groups on AllTrikes that also have sign-in's required for their author's reasons.  You can also create them yourself.  See HELP  and specifically THIS help page, for more info.

You may open the AllTrikes page and see nothing new going on, but if you are not signed in (and /or not joined a group), it will look like nothing is going on on the site, yet there is an intense discussion going on invisible to you.

Don't miss the discussion!
