"Thumbs Up" are FREE!  They don't cost nothin' and they make the person  who provided content for you happy!

"Thumbs Up"  is synonymous with "Like"

So, if you like what you just read / saw, give it a "Thumbs Up!"   ....  in the end, if everyone here stops being so tight with Thumbs Up  (seriously, look today at the "Activity River,"  how many "Thumbs Up" do you see?  Two?!),  then when YOU go to the Activity River to see what's Good to Check out, you will know because you can pick the item with 10 thumbs up!

So, EVERYBODY LOOSEN UP with the THUMBS UP!!!!

Thumbs UP--  the gift that keeps on giving and is free

(unlike herpes, which keeps giving but can be expensive with ongoing medications & what not ....)

Also, if you click on "Thumbs Up" a second time, you can Undo it (un-like / erase your like).

Be Careful though:

It's easy to confuse the Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down, & Comment Bubble Icons.  See photo (click to enlarge).  The Comment Bubble is rounder than the Thumbs Down button. [The "Comment Bubble" system was deactivated, as confusing.]  The Thumbs Down button is on the right of the Thumbs Up button.  The Comment Bubble is on the left of the Thumbs Up button.  It's even easier to accidentally hit the thumbs down button for the like (thumbs up button) when there have already been previous "likes"-- in which case, the words "2 Likes" will be just to the left of the Thumbs Down button, confusing you into thinking it is the like button (see photo below):

Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down, Comment Bubble

How to Undo an accidental Dislike (Thumb Down)  or  Lime (Thumbs up):

Simple, click on it again-  it works like On / Off.  If you have accidentally clicked the wrong Icon, or change your mind, you can un do it.  Once you click on "Like/Thumbs Up" it now becomes "Un-Like/Thumbs Up" and you can click on it to remove your "Like." (unlike is NOT the same as dislike, just means you are removing your "Like" from the post.  Similarly, if you click on "Dislike/Thumbs Down" it now becomes "Un-DisLike/Thumbs Down" and you can click on it again to remove your "Dislike."  Remember though that an email message that a Dislike occured has already been sent to the poster as well as Admin.  If it was an accident, consider messaging the person to let them know that--The dislike email automatically generated with a Thumbs Down click can't be unsent, but you can send your own "Oops, sorry!!" to them.

(if you are looking for info on "Thumbs Down"  see "Moderator / Moderation" under "Navigation" to the Right)

It's easy to confuse between Thumbs Down & Comment.  But you can undo it easily also.  Just click on the icon again and it will un-do it.

Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down, Comment Bubble

The "Thumbs UP" (like) & "Thumbs Down" (dislike) icons have been improved to prevent confusion with the Comment Bubble.  If you are not seeing the new Icons (both have more detail in the fingers), REFRESH your Browser's Cache memory --

    Thumbs Icons

FireFox:  Under Tools --  Clear Recent History

Safari--  Under the Safari Menu item, Empty Cache

Or in other Browsers usually under preferences.

These and continuing improvements brought to you by the Guys (and Gals) at AllTrikes.com

Did anyone notice the change to 3 Column format?
