Now forming group to enroll in 16 hour course. To be offered somewhere in the U.S. Southwest (Calif, Arizona, New Mexico, or Nevada) depending on participants. If we get approximately 15 participants interested in any particular area, then Neil Bungard will travel to us to give the course. Vegas !!?? Maybe we can schedule with the long awaited electric Trike Fly-in !!?? If we can't get 15 ish people interested, the course will be held in Tucson. Please use the RSVP button below to sign up as "Interested." Don't be a shy lurker, mark as "interested" it doesn't hurt if it turns out you cna't attend, but it helps us figure out things. Once we get enough people interested, we'll talk about location and dates. Until then, I've set the date for this event imaginarily on 1/1/2016 (just so it won't expire on us while we're forming up). I'll edit the date when we decide on one

OK Guys - I got a chance to meet Neil face to face at copperstate and they are still interested in doing the class, just got super busy during October and couldn't handle it all. We are looking at a target of December or Early in the new year. What are your preferences?
Sally - this is the typcal FAA approved course that enables ELSA owners to conduct their own annual inspections.
I would jump at the chance to attend if it is held early in the new year. There's no way I could break free in Dec., it's insanely bussy at that time of year for me.
I agree with Pterosomething, Dec is a bust for me but I am all about a January target (mid to late Jan works better for me).
I'd propose something like the Weekend of 24/25 Jan or 31 Jan/1 Feb.... what do you all think?
My vote is 24/25 Jan. Thank you for coordinating this Ken!
Most any date will work for me. Seems like January is a good month for most. I Hope we can get enough pilots, would love to do my own annuals.
I'll be there if it's held on Jan 24/25 or Jan 31/ Feb 1.
Both of those weekends are good for me
I am still interested....
I got info back from Mia and Neil today and we are on for the weekend of 24-25 January 2015. I'm getting details nailed down the venue, but it will be in the Las Vegas area, and hopefully Boulder City. We need 10 people to make it a go, and the max is 15.
Very intrested Ken.
Count me in Ken! I'll hold off on the plane tickets for a little but I'll coordinate to get the time off from work so I can fly out there.
More info from Mia - the cost for the course is $375. Much lower than one estimate that I saw posted earlier!
I'm in Ken.
I am in as well. Do we have an official attendance roster? Thanks for setting this up Ken!
Yikes! I must have mixed up the cost of the class with my airline fee. My bad! Much eaisier to recoup from.
Checked my calendar and I'm open. I'm in Ken.
Great news, I'm in. When do you need a deposit?
Will the sessions provide sign language interpreter if I attend???
Hi Sally! This is a Brochure I've had for a long time. This class was held at Double Ealge Ranch, but it gives a good idea of the schedule and what it entails. Click on the link to see the brochure.

Sally here is what I got back on the interpreter question -
Ken
Regarding the 16 hr course, It appears we need more people for this to happen? Yes? If I read the original post correctly that we need 15??? End of Jan is around 60 days away?, How about it guys? Commit! ( Just a shameless plea from a lurker that needs the coarse and an excuse to go to Vegas.
