Here is SkyVector showing some flying I have completed as of and including CrossCountry NAVs endorsement in March 2014.

Not How I was taught to land...#2

I am still not comfortable with the way this pilot flies. Thank goodness we get training that will give us the best and safest flying experiences.

It looks pretty rowdy in this one.  He's getting worked.  (Or letting it work him-- hard to tell the dividing line between one becoming the other).

    Please translate rowdy. :-)

That was the first video of the 2 I looked at and you can see why it frightened me.

Rowdy = "Rock N Roll"  ( aint Noise Pollution, it's just uh rock and roll!!!!)

(aint is a  'merican word by the way.  The "A" in 'merica is silent!)

    Hey check out this vid,

You can fast forward vid 1 to 3:47 for a landing in ~15mph gusty crosswind component (maybe 25kt total wind speed) with a softy bar out technique.   You can see my trike already parked at 6:12 hiding in the wind shadow.  What's worse is that we "had to" take off in this.  There was a chopper hover practicing just on the up/cross wind side of the runway.  We called and called on the radio, no friggin answer from the guy.  We taxied past the threshold to get an even longer run before the area the helicopter was hovering.  I radioed one last time to Henry that as soon as he touched down his wake would be the least and I was going for it.  The helicopter then radioed-- "Oh, hey (only guys here taxiing in this horrible wind) you guys want to take off, I'll spin her down."   "Thank you!!!"  Los Banos is at the base of a dip in the coastal range and lets all the sea breeze spill down onto it.  Windmillls!!!  Damn I hat windmills.  Ten miles north my wife called to say it was calm and beautiful, just like she is!!! ;)

"Ten miles north my wife called to say it was calm and beautiful, just like she is!!! ;)"

    Ahh, after something?

The first video, it seems to me that he needs to get his wing tested too, look at the condition of the wing. The fabric appears to be in a bad condition to me.

Henry's video was something, it seems like gusts, rotors and everything else on top. Henry probably kissed the ground after landing...LOL :)
