Take off from Echo Bay Airport, a remote strip near Lake Mead, traveling around the Valley of Fire, and returning down the lake.

Loved everything about this video. I also love the trike, a bare bone trike with Tundra tires is a thing of beauty. Is that gadget an Ipad, I must be living in primitive times but I have seen many trikers with that gadget, what do you guys use it for?

BTW, Is there any way you can send me a few close up pictures of your steering dampner, I bought a brand new one but it doesn't come with installation instructions and I am not very mechanically inclined.

  • Rick D

Thanks for the compliments RizzyWizzy. The gadget is a Garmin GPS 695. Really nice and full of features. Can't get lost with this.

And sure I will send you some pics of the dampener. When I get off work today I will snap some and get them to you.

I flew that same area back in 1972 and got in trouble with the ranger for landing on the beach at echo bay. by the way Riz you can go to northwing.com and they have schematics of all those parts and how to attach them

  • Rick D

Hey Reb, somehow I have a feeling you have always been a rebel. :)

Rizzy, I uploaded some pics to the album Steering Dampener in case you want to use these in addition to the schematics.

  • RizzyWizzy

Thanks Rick for the pictures, that will really help. The dampener I got didn't have any schematics so these pictures will help a lot. Thanks again...Rizzy

    Thanks Rebel,

I called Northwing twice and they told me it will be sent in the mail and I never received it. By the way I got married at "Valley of Fire", it was my wife's idea. She loves native Indian art and at Valley of Fire has a lot of petroglyphs.
