That was awesome XC! Looks like a heck of a lot of fun. Frankly, what I would like to do some day (never have yet) is combine my love of skiing with HG. One could essentially do every thing shown here and more. Would have a much better glide ratio too. Really like the idea of a rigid frame supporting my sail. Of course, the real advantage of these speed wings in comparison is their portability and ease of setup. It would not be very enjoyable spending at least 20-30min setting up a HG and holding cold aluminum tubing at the top of a mountain with potentially brutal cold conditions. Not to mention hassle to transport a HG to top of mountain. Pros and cons to every form of flying!
