Jesssss XC  what do you want me to do go sell my trikes and get another hang glider?  Dude thats one of the BEST VIDEOS I've seen!  who is it at dog mountain?  TY for sharing.

Oh, I'm sorry, I posted his name on the "Speeds to Fly" post (logged in viewers only)--  That's Aaron Swepston-- Hang Glider Champion in Acrobatics, Speed Gliding and XC.  He's an extremely smart and articulate dude.  All the guys I know who are really good at soaring / distance are VERY smart.  They have to be to make all those continuous calculations of glide vs height vs winds vs micro-meterology vs strategy  etc.  Like Mike Barber-- brilliant dudes.

I met Aaron and the really great Hang Gliding club  (CBCC) when I was called up for duty and stationed in Tacoma.  They are a REALLY great bunch of guys & gals, very active and welcoming club.  I miss them a lot.  Dog Mountain is their bread and butter site.

Hi XC, I don't wanna be that Guy... I have already been there and done that. It was a fantastic part of my life. If I could have my life over again? I would do it the same.
