Today I test flew my new trike and I am glad to report that she flies great. A little slower than my last one but that is how I like flying anyway...Low and slow :)

Thanks XC triker, without a doubt I had a blast flying my bird & while I was flying a red tailed hawk that was flying towards me, it flew very close, probably 5 yards from my right wing. I wish I had a wing tip camera to catch that....ahh better luck next time.

Hey Riz, Great to see you up in the air and posting here about it.
Henry & I are going to Elk River. We're driving up about a week earlier, so I'm not sure about flying there from La Grande-- though we might all fly from Elk River to La Grande to come get you and fly back to the camp-- you up for that? Are you planing to go to Elk River?

Not sure if Ken is coming-- he'll probably still be in Phase 1 trials of his trike restoration.
Basically everyone who came last year is coming, plus possibly @Jeff_Trike. Haven't heard from @GeorgeB recently, pretty sure he's coming
We're hoping that @YFT comes and brings the student pilots he recently posted so that we can help 'em with their mountain flying skills, and such.

I am not sure exactly when, my boss has put in for an application there and if she gets the job, she is wanting me to move with her too...which works great for me because my son is in Idaho so I can be close to my family.
Elk river looks pretty do able, but being the only banker, it won't be the first time that I have had to cancel my plans. I will let you know as we get closer to that date.
Ahh, moving with the female boss, I get it ;) Does she by chance look like Jess or Meg? Canceling triking plans if the "boss" says so eh. Ok, Ok, I see where you stand with your triking buds- the ones who flew 1800 miles by trike to visit you in the middle of the desert in summer ...

Got it YFT...XC triker, actually it is for my son...I find it very hard to be away from him. My boss is very nice to me so if she gets a job, she said she will have a position for me. In this job market, if you have a boss like this you stick with them.
