A bit of a boring video I know, and yes it is much easier when the landing site is one that is very familiar and available. But still, a good bit of exercise now and then to learn to judge your descent and distance judging skills.
Around the pattern and landing at ButtonWillow- it was prettier than suggested by google satellite view-- granted, it is still "Stark" as Ken says!! ;) But that's the fun of camping, getting away from it all, focussing on friends and flying-- no distractions
A 409 mile cross country flight cut short. Half way into this journey, a forced landing meant the Toucans could no longer fly - for a little while at least. As a result, only half of this video has actual flying. ToucanDrive hire cars though!
