You can draw a rectangle on ground like on competition 100x15 meters. Then you can take off from this box and land also there. Like on aircraft carrier, if you go out of the box you will swim in the sea :)
The only shackles I’ve ever used (and still use) are for dangling the pull start pulley…and I’ve had two break on the ground…I’d never trust a shackle on a flying wire.
Thanks Joe. Zion is practically in our backyard, only about a 20 minute flight. I need to put together a better video with footage and stills from the air and ground...on my bucket list.
Hi Noel C, I took this shot just after take-off on Sunday morning. You couldn't see anything on the ground, but from the air it was magic. Have a look on the YFT site and you will see my new wings for the Black and Yellow Tanargs.
rick if you all had any tall pines down there i would of sworn i was watching return of the jedi or something like them airbikes. were thos ewoks i saw running down on the ground.
Glad to see the runway at Mansfield has finally dried out enough for you to get off the ground av8or. Looks like a great flight around your local neighbourhood.
Thanks for sharing.
I am just in awe of the way you guys over there can swap, mix, upgrade, downgrade and modify wings a bit like selecting tyres for your SUV. If we tried this in Aus they would ground our aircraft and throw us in the slammer
Spectacular views! Looks like the only time you were on the ground was to refuel, pickup passenger or sleep. It is so amazing to be able to go where we go with these machines. Thanks Jeff for showing us so many coolscapes!
