Really spectacular Rick. Have you ever landed at the ejection seat test area on the cliff? Possible?

  • Rick D

Thanks Ken! While I think it is doable I wouldn't try it as it is off limits by road and don't think they would be greeting me kindly.

Well They do look a bit serious about that dont they!!! Still I don't see any x's indicating a closed runway here :)  Tempting.....Launchramp.png

  • Rick D

OK, you do the landing and I will be flying nearby watching out for any Hornets... ;]

Really amazing flight Rick. I like the flat and green top of hills there.

You just never know when you will have a red light on the warning gauge .... sometimes emergencies happen

  • Rick D

    That's the ticket!

Great one Rick.  I think it would be awesome to fly over Zion.  Will never forget when our family visited there about 10 yrs ago, but I never had the chance to see it from a birds eye view.  You did though.

  • Rick D

Thanks Joe. Zion is practically in our backyard, only about a 20 minute flight. I need to put together a better video with footage and stills from the air and ground...on my bucket list.

  • ULtrikepilot

Oh I did not realize you lived so close to Zion. You are in a fantastic location. Yes forgot to mention that I think I may have been tempted to test out that strip on top of that mesa. But I realize it is important to resist some temptations.  I like Ken's idea that a warning light on the dash may be sufficient justification to get down to check out the problem.  :)

  • Rick D

Hey, maybe 3 warning lights on 3 trikes...you know, passed through some very dusty air or the exhaust of the alien spacecraft that passes by there from time to time.

  • Ken

I will not leave my wingman

  • Walt

Breathtaking! Thanks for sharing. I have got to get down there and experience this.

Thanks Baydo! Come on down, the views are amazing!
