Whew, thanks, Shelton I know. Lived there and flew out of KSHN for 17 years. Only problem with western Washington is lots of rain and fog. August often the best month for flying but you can still get rained out. Now you know why I retired to Texas. Chelan might be a better weather choice.- Wow, the YouTube comments as usual are typical garbage. Most bashed on the pilot, or even the type of airplane...crash. It was an experienced pilot, that reported power loss aft...get in their way of bashing a pilot, plane, or sport they know nothing about....
- Hey Hobie, for the sake of a quick answer for you- Rebel is based in Lake Havasu, AZ, but he travels basically all of the Western states to bring instruction to you. Very cool !!
- Dean the cloud base was at 3500 ft. so I had to be that high to get the video. by the way I am a private pilot weight shift and filed a IFR flight plan for this flight. light sport pilots are not allowed near clouds
Congrats to Eric from Denver, Colorado (center) who earned his Sport Pilot ticket in Trikes. He came down to Albuquerque to work with myself Damien as CFI (in yellow on the left) and Frank Dempsey as DPE on the right.- This is an amazing undertaking / gift for us Jeff !!!
