I always enjoyed that flight. Lake is spectacular and the Bird Museum was a must stop when they allowed landings. Sadly, Bird's heirs will no longer allow the public to land. My wife grew up across the street from Felts.Comment on "Bull River Valley and the Dr. Forrest Bird Museum"
Tom, thanks for the video, great memories from flying in that area. - Toucans can't fly. Whilst on a cross country trip to Lightning Ridge in outback NSW, we had a forced landing. Suspected bird strike to the propellor. All went well though. No damage to trike or pilot and passenger. Yes, a video is being made. Watch this space!

i have had a lot of thought on this over the years from a sparrow to a albatross and i do believe that the common accepted ideas do not add up to modern calculations. birds fly so well simply because they have hollow bones. birds fly so well because the have enormous wing muscles.- ...
