It was a tad bit chilly and just a little too windy here in Illinois, but I did manage to log the first hour of flying this year. Can't think of a better way to bring in the New Year!- It is freezing cold, so I didn't get to fly, but here is my bird with it's offspring :)
- I thought this would be a unique view-- I talked the tower into taking photos of us flying today-- The shots in the air didn't come out so great. No snow, but this one is kinda unique. Was cold (California cold) in the air though. Happy New Year!

- Happy New Year Everyone! Snow greetings from 500'. Taken 1-1-13 3:00pm, temp: 21F (-6C). Had to shovel a gap in two drifts to get to the runway....but it was worth it.
