Just having some fun :-)
All I need now is a funny/dramatic ending - any ideas? Maybe shooting down a tie-fighter? Or the trike being shot up by laser beams?
Maybe being chased by a tie-fighter or flying information with an x-wing?
Too many possibilites.
The closest thing to flying like a bird used to be hang gliding - well last century anyway. But more recently I think this is more like a bird on steroids! (not so much a soaring Eagle)
This is indirectly related to trike flying. Just wanted to show what I will be doing after I add an additional wing and twin 912s to my trike. Then I can ground skim like these biplanes... :)
I recently had the pleasure of sharing an evening flight with an adventurous young lady whom I have known for many years. Introducing people to the unique flying experience that a trike provides is great fun! Hope you enjoy the ride.
Took my next door neighbors up for their first trike flight. They were very nervous but overcame the fear. As expected, I have more friends to fill the back seat when Debbie can't fly. :) I think I get more enjoyment out of taking people up for this unique experience than they do.
Unseasonable monsoon weather produced perfect flying conditions. It feels almost like Autumn with the corn maze growing, the hay mown and the water of the estero glassy. The view over the fog to Bodega Bay was even finer in person.
Around the pattern and landing at ButtonWillow- it was prettier than suggested by google satellite view-- granted, it is still "Stark" as Ken says!! ;) But that's the fun of camping, getting away from it all, focussing on friends and flying-- no distractions
A bit of a boring video I know, and yes it is much easier when the landing site is one that is very familiar and available. But still, a good bit of exercise now and then to learn to judge your descent and distance judging skills.
