This area is called Cathedral Valley. This sandstone butte does seem to have flying buttresses, just like a medieval cathedral.- We climbed up high, and then finally figured out where we were for sure. Above the clouds at 13,999 over the junction of the Blanco, Navajo and Chama River Basins.
- Jozinko carried this sign in the bus in case he got lost getting to the first destination city !!! ;) His instructions were to stop and hold up this sign !! ;-)
- All the kids ( even the grown up ones ) on the farm come to watch us depart from Ezeljagt farm after stopping over for coffee.
- This battery is shockingly light. It feels like an empty plastic box. Here's a photo balancing it on one finger.
- Refueling in the little town of Ivanho. The bus takes anyone who does not want to fly, all our luggage and tons of fuel. It also ferries us around form the airport to hotel and adventures in town
- We continued further west towards Weminuche Pass. I saw this slender ribbon waterfall in a narrow canyon on the side of Mt Hossick.
- I had to take the front cowling off for repair and a paint job. I'll be replacing most of the bolts/nuts on the front end.
