CHEERS!!!!
Good job Kael. I wish my first solo landing had been that good. Judging by the build of your instructor I reckon you were 1 sandbag short. - only kidding Larry.
Bill is out here in Albuquerque, New Mexico to full his dream of learning to fly! Don't get fooled by the Stoic Look, he is having lots of fun and it's very rewarding to see him get better each lesson! I have a can of Solo set aside for Bill!
Gosh Tom! How fabulous was that flight.....the scenery, absolutely stunning.
I part...that you will have more video from that same flight?.......you gotta keep them co...his warm butt were a welcome addition to the flight but for sure Henrys Booming r...
Don't get me wrong, my CFI was great. I was concentrating more on bringing his magnificent aircraft back in one piece than the amazing feeling of going solo. I celebrated that later when back at the hangar.

madmik i know this is late in coming big congratulations on your solo buddy and i love your trike colors. seems just like yesterday we stayed up late talking about everything. hope i can get down under and fly with you again
Chuck, your description of seeing your instructor 1100 ft below you, instantly transported me back a short time ago to my first solo.....a little scary.....a little exciting but most of all...........LIBERATING! Thank you for that.
Congratulations Chuck!
Ever heard a student retort their instructor, "Don't think I'm ready to solo yet Chief. Need a few more lessons". Interesting viewer feedback on host site.
