Safety Lanyard

The forward looking camera is located on the front tube.  This is mounted using the GoPro Roll Bar Mount (http://gopro.com/camera-mounts/roll-bar-mount).  In this case no coupler is needed and the camera is very close to the front tube to minimize vibration.  I use a lanyard on this as a safety precaution so that if any part of the camera mount comes loose (very unlikely) it would be secured and would not go through the prop.

I have been using a Ram Strut Mount on my front tube, but this seems like even a better idea. I might have to try it. Actually for my next camera I am seriously thinking of getting a Drift so might have to try some of their mounts.
