Valley of Fire, Lake Mead, and Gold Butte
I know, a lot of you are probably saying...not another Valley of Fire video! At the risk of boring some I am posting my latest flight through this surreal area for those who may have missed the earlier videos. Also have some footage of the Gold Butte area of Nevada where there are a lot of Indian petroglyphs. If you squint and look real hard you may see some. In addition, at the end of the video, we flew by two pelicans. Desert pelicans...? This was not a UFO incident but just as surprising. Maybe the little aliens in disguise...

big hello rick yup i was skwirmming on my couch with every turn . wow what interresting terrain id like to know a little more of the formation of that aera . was this too caused by the great flood event. and of course you know i love the floyd.didnt look to lz friendly though.kinda made me think about a flight i had with hedgeview in oz without the roos. it was at that moment when i realized why they call him hedgeview.whew

Thanks everyone! David, you are right, LZs were sometimes scarce but would always be looking for the best possible spots. Always playing in my mind was what my instructor Leo had drilled so many times..."OK, you've just lost your engine".

They must be very bored out there. Twasn't me flying Mesquite. Was it a good call in or bad?
