With no GA traffic on Sunday evening, I had to practice a few engine off landings. In this case I cut power on down wind for several landings. I am a big believer in the importance of practicing engine off landings quite often.- Spent a day at the Flying J ranch at El Mirage last Sunday. Pat landed, Jim R is at the right. Joey in the air. Perfect and no wind day. I got ride with Pat for 20 minutes to satisfy my lust for the blue sky.
