Alltrikes

The winds were calm and forecast be calm until tomorrow at noon so we headed to Nokai Dome Airstrip.  I have wanted to camp here for a long time.  Nokai Dome is very exposed, any wind up here would be bad.  We tied our wings to the trike chassis and then tied the wings down to some large rocks.

Nokai Dome is an intimidating place to land, last year I skipped because the winds were too strong.   But this afternoon it was calm and landing straight forward.  Here is a link to a video I made of the first time I landed here in 2009.  It also gives a you an idea of the spectacular view over the back at the top of the airstrip.
