  • Not too bad now.

    It wasn’t too bad initially. We headed towards Jicarilla Airport and the north/south valley that ends near Albuquerque starts there.  I had the corset all the way in and was doing 65-70 mph ground speed.

    Works Great! Better high-speed tracking, suspension, and stopping power. Landings are softer and I no-longer have to brace for runway ditches.

    Had a lot of nice landings today with my first time in this trike, and flying the IXess 15. I like the wing, handles nice, and good speed range

  • 104 MPH ground speed-- Wind is blowing me quickly OFF shore.

    I hoped I could duck down lower coming home and get out of these "helpful" winds-- but, they slowed me up a lot getting back across the channel

    Never seen one of these before. Ran into it at the Boulder City BFE hangar. Looks fast sitting still. Epic LT Experimental amateur build turboprop. 340 kts cruise speed, and climbs at 3000 fpm. Hokey smokes Bullwinkle!
