There are the western buttes of MV. The winds were 30 mph of the north, as we crept past MV with a ground speed near 50mph all the way to Cal Black Airport, near Lake Powell. The winds eased off to calm here, as predicted by the forecast. The guy running the fuel pump at Cal Black remembered us from last year.
