- The photo was taken at El Mirage dry lake. At southwest corner of dry lake is a Flying J ranch where trikers gather.

- Yes they are dead trees. This is a man made lake and the Murray River flows through the lake. Where there are no trees it is about 12 feet deep, and where the trees are you could walk across.

Bullhead wind should be similiar to Lake Havasu, only 65 miles. El Mirage dry lake is blowing strong as 25, it will reduce to 14 tmw. Then weekend and next week it will reduce more.
